What type of Harley Davidson is a good choice for a small woman?
I'm 115 lbs (small, 5'2) of women who have recently learned rising. I know that the Sportster is recommended for women, but I really like the Softails (Deluxe in particular). Is it going to be too big for me? Are there other choices that might be a good fit?? I'm just trying to understand some of these stars before going to the dealer.
Luxury is a great bike and one of the lowest models Harley did. It will be heavier than the 883, but it is much more pleasant and walks much better. I had a 2007 model for a moment that I traded for a '09 Street Glide. I have kept the Deluxe. Love this bike! You need a seat closer to help you touch the ground though. The bicycle seat Stock triangle is wide enough. Maybe something like a Sundowner works better but the guys in the shop can help you with that.
