Harley Covers – Keep your ride protected
What our Harley covers did for us last year!
Me and my two brothers-in-laws own Harleys. I have a 2006 Ultra Glide (which goes better than my car!) And my two brothers-in-laws have late model Sportster. Because we live in the Midwest, we only have four good months a year constituency – and we take full advantage of it!
Well last summer, the three of us decided to climb from Northwest Indiana by the Ohio Valley. We packed my bike trailer with the basics – clothes, a tent, sleeping bags, small tools and of course, our Harley cover .
After about four hours on the road, we reached a very strong storm. Not only was it raining like crazy, but lightning, hail and strong winds forced us to withdraw the closest hotel … as for camping, right?
Anyway, the first thing we did when we checked the hotel was unpacking my trailer with our blankets Harley. And it's a good thing we did! It rained for almost 18 hours a row! Not to mention the high winds and hail the size of golf balls.
Had we not had our Harley covers our bikes have been sacked. After the storm, you could see how the powerful winds and hail was. I probably had my 06 cried Ultra Glide has been damaged – I love this bike!
So all that being said and I did not want to bore you with our journey, but IF PLEASE make sure you have your Harley cover with you when you take the bike. It may just protect his life!
